All-in-One Schedule Management Platform

If you work in healthcare, you understand the critical role that staff scheduling plays in clinical operations and patient safety. A well constructed on-call schedule ensures that front-line healthcare providers have a solid groundwork to provide safe, timely, and competent care. However, healthcare is complex and it can be very challenging to make last minute changes in scheduling and still ensure that coverage is sufficient to manage patient demands.
To solve these challenges, we’re excited to announce the addition of Hypercare’s Scheduling and Marketplace feature to our product lineup. This dynamic platform enables you to view monthly schedules, request shift exchanges with your colleagues, view shift availabilities on the marketplace, and manage shift requests in one centralized location. Alongside our messaging and virtual switchboard capabilities, this new suite of features will consolidate fragmented and manual workflows into one easy-to-use collaborative platform. For example, you will be able to quickly identify the on-call provider for the Cardiology department, send them an instant message, and view the monthly on-call schedule to coordinate a date to connect and discuss a care plan.
1. Accessing monthly schedules to plan ahead
With the launch of our new Scheduling and Marketplace feature, you will now be able to view monthly schedules for each department in your organization on Hypercare’s Web App. This will allow you to better plan ahead and coordinate care with different members of the healthcare team. Simply click on the Schedule icon and toggle between departments and months to view the appropriate schedule.
2. Swapping Shifts with Colleagues
To provide you with greater flexibility in managing your schedule, you will now be able to request direct shift exchanges with colleagues in your department on Hypercare’s Web App. Once shifts have been accepted, you and your colleague will receive an email notification and changes will be reflected in real-time.
3. Posting and Accepting Shifts on the Marketplace
Situations may arise where you are unable to work a certain shift and will require a colleague to pick-up or trade for the shift. Oftentimes, this can be a burdensome process as you may find yourself messaging each of your colleagues to find a willing candidate. Look no further, this new rollout of features will allow you to easily view available shifts in your department and post unwanted shifts on the Marketplace for a swap or give away. This simplified process aims to save you time and effort to focus on more important tasks at hand.
4. Managing Shift Requests
As part of the Schedule and Marketplace launch, you will be able to manage incoming and outgoing requests in one centralized location. Gone are the days where you would have to scroll through text messages or recall lengthy conversations to see if a colleague was willing to exchange shifts. Once a shift request has been accepted, Hypercare will take care of the rest -notifying the appropriate stakeholders and revising the schedule to reflect the changes.

Healthcare Interoperability vs Integration: What’s the Difference?
Integration and interoperability are often used interchangeably, but the terms have different meanings. Integration is about connecting specific systems, while interoperability is about creating a common language that allows compliant systems to communicate meaningfully.
