Crystal worked as an RN for 10 years on the Maternal Child Unit and two years as a Nurse Educator supporting staff across four hospitals, prior to 2018 when she joined the IT department in her current role. She has been involved in improving frontline documentation, with a goal to simplify and streamline the day to day processes for staff. During the height of the pandemic last year, Crystal was redeployed as a bedside RN in the ICU. She also held the Interim management role for HPHA's Maternal Child Unit for 7 months during the Omicron outbreak.
